Join us for five transformative days at the Synapse BioBusiness Summer School 2025, taking place in Copenhagen from August 18th to 22nd! If you're a driven life science student, recent graduate, or Ph.D. candidate curious about the business side of biotech and pharma, this is the perfect way to wrap up your summer.
Throughout the week, you’ll explore what it takes to turn groundbreaking science into real-world impact. From bioentrepreneurship and intellectual property rights to regulatory affairs, venture capital, and pricing strategies, you'll gain insight into the forces shaping the life science industry today. You'll hear from experts across the industry and explore the many career paths that lie ahead. The program includes practical workshops, interactive panel discussions and inspiring talks. You will explore how to build your network strategically and present your ideas confidently in a business context.
The highlight of the summer school is our case competition, developed in collaboration with BAIN & Company and BioInnovation Institute, focusing on a startup from the BII. You’ll work in teams to solve real-world business problems, putting your new skills to the test in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Meals would be provided by Synapse, and we’ll wrap up the week with a fun and relaxing celebration dinner.

- For the application: Motivational letter, CV, and a 16Personalities test
- Life science education: Students, recent graduates, and Ph.D. candidates are encouraged to apply
- Full participation is required for all five days
